Day 1 – Sunday, July 23, 2023 (Fontainebleau, Blois)
06:20 AM: Departure from Cluj with Wizzair to Beauvais, arrival at 08:05 AM
Departure to Fontainebleau (160 km). Visit to Château de Fontainebleau, the favorite residence of King François I (€12, free for those under 26).
Departure to Blois (180 km), 2-night stay at a 3-star hotel.
Visit to the Royal Château of Blois (€9.50).
Day 2 - Monday, July 24 (Chambord, Chenonceaux)
8:00 AM : Breakfast.
9:00 AM : Departure to Chambord (15 km). Visit to Château de Chambord (€12, free for those under 26), the largest Renaissance castle in the Loire Valley, built by King François I.
Departure to Chenonceaux (60 km). Visit to Château de Chenonceaux (€13), known as the "Château of the Ladies" due to its association with Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de' Medici.
Departure to Azay-le-Rideau (50 km). Visit to Château d'Azay-le-Rideau (€9, free for those under 26).
Return to Blois (45 km).
Day 3 – Tuesday, July 25 (Chartres, Versailles)
8:00 AM: Breakfast.
9:00 AM: Departure to Chartres (130 km). Visit to the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the most important masterpiece of French Gothic architecture.
Departure to Versailles (80 km). Visit to Château de Versailles and the Grand Trianon (€21.50, free for those under 26), built by King Louis XIV.
Departure to Paris (30 km), 3-night stay at a 3-star hotel.
Day 4 – Wednesday, July 26 (Paris)
8:00 AM: Breakfast.
9:00 AM: Departure for the city. Visit the Latin Quarter and the Luxembourg Gardens. On Île de la Cité, admire Notre-Dame Cathedral, then cross the Seine to visit the Brâncuși Atelier.
Optionally, in the afternoon, visit the Musée d'Orsay, which houses the largest collection of Impressionist art in the world. Alternatively, you can choose a day at Disneyland Paris, reachable by a one-hour train ride.
Day 5 - Thursday, July 27 (Paris)
8:00 AM: Breakfast.
Visit the Louvre Museum (€17, free for those under 26), which has been open since 1793 and is the largest art museum in the world.
Stroll through the Tuileries Gardens, Place Vendôme, and the Champs-Élysées.
In the afternoon, either ascend the Eiffel Tower (€26) or take a Seine River cruise (€7).
Day 6 - Friday, July 28 (Reims)
8:00 AM: Breakfast.
9:00 AM: Departure to Reims (150 km). Visit Notre-Dame Cathedral.
Enjoy a Champagne tasting at Pommery (€30).
Departure to Strasbourg (350 km).
